Dec 2009 Suni concert in Yerevan

4 pm Tues 29 Dec 2009 was our Suni concert in Yerevan, Armenia in Toumanian Museum. Suni’s grandson, Professor Ronald Grigor Suny, introduced the life of his grandfather, we played the voice of Suni’s son Gourgen (George) Suny on his 84th birthday in 1994 singing “Yete MI Or” to Toumanian’s poem, also the voice of Suny’s daughter Seda Suny singing at age 80 her father’s song “Sareri Hovin Mernim”.

View Photos Suni’s great granddaughters violinists Sevan + Anoush Suni + pianist mother Armena Marderosian performed works of Grikor Mirzaian Suni (1876-1939), and Anoush sang two Suni songs with her oud.

Our concert was introduced by Artsvi Bakhchinyan, philologist, film researcher, Armenologist, doctor of philology, Yerevan, Armenia.
